Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee a bi-weekly payroll process.This role involves managing payment processing, expenses, and deductions, while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.

ResponsibilitiesOversee bi-weekly payroll and manage payment processing, expenses, and deductions.Upload records, deductions, and retroactive increases into the payroll system.Process payroll and handle payroll calculations across various pay cycles.Manage garnishments efficiently.Assist the manager with payroll tax processing at the end of the month.Ensure accurate and timely payments of all federal, state, local, and provincial withholding and unemployment taxes, including CPP, EI, and Workers’ Compensation payments.Assist with both internal and external payroll tax audits.Support project-based work during implementation projects and software updates, such as running mock payrolls and creating reports for the team.Essential Skills5+ years of payroll experience.Proficiency in using mid-large ERP systems.Intermediate Excel skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsCPP or FCP certification preferred.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
