Job Description
As a Senior Payroll and Benefits Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing leave status reports, reviewing state pay overrides, and making historical corrections through manual entries. You will document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and resolve inquiries from internal team members. Additionally, you will be involved in new process developments, particularly Quick Reference Guides (QRGs).
Responsibilities
Compare and analyze manual leave status reports.Review state pay overrides to ensure compliance.Make manual entries for historical corrections on timecard reports.Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for payroll and benefits processes.Resolve and handle inquiries from internal team members regarding payroll and benefits.Assist in developing new processes, including Quick Reference Guides (QRGs).Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in Payroll, Leave of Absence (LOA), and Benefits administration.Strong background in Payroll with experience in LOA and its relation to payroll.Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Oracle and UKG is highly desirable.Familiarity with other large ERP and HRIS systems.Work Environment
This position reports into the Payroll department, which is divided into two groups. You will support the team in Payroll Support, Payroll Tax, and Union Reporting, as well as Payroll Workforce Management and Payroll Processing. The work schedule includes in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with remote work options on Wednesday and Friday. The team operates from 7 AM to 5 PM, allowing flexible start times between 7 AM and 8 AM. This role is hourly with overtime compensation for hours exceeding 40 per week.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
