Responsibilities:
- Lead case management for complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, paternity, and domestic violence cases
- Draft advanced legal documents such as trial briefs, motions, subpoenas, financial disclosures, and settlement agreements
- Conduct and supervise legal research; prepare case summaries and reports for attorney review
- Prepare for hearings and trials, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and courtroom logistics
- Maintain detailed case files, deadlines, and calendars using case management software
- Serve as primary client liaison; provide compassionate, consistent communication and support
- File legal documents with the court (e-filing and physical filing as needed)
- Coordinate with experts, investigators, and other third-party professionals
- Train and mentor junior paralegals and legal assistants on processes, documentation, and court procedures
- Ensure compliance with all legal ethics and confidentiality standards
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Leadership experience or interest in a supervisory role

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously with minimal supervision

- Associate or Bachelor?s degree and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
- Minimum 10 years of paralegal experience, with significant hands-on experience in family law
- Must have experience with drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, extensive client contact, problem-solving, filing, case management, and trial preparation.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal family law procedures and court systems
- Strong understanding of financial disclosures, custody evaluations, and discovery processes in family law
- Advanced proficiency in family law software and case management systems
