Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal/Corporate Secretary to join our legal team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role, you will provide comprehensive paralegal support and manage corporate secretarial duties for our organization.

Assist attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case managementManage corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and regulatory filingsPrepare and review legal documents, contracts, and corporate recordsEnsure compliance with local and international corporate laws and regulationsCoordinate with various departments to gather information for legal proceedings and corporate mattersMaintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records and minute booksAssist in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactionsLiaise with government authorities, external counsel, and other stakeholders as neededProvide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling, filing, and document management

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Law, or a related fieldParalegal certification preferredMinimum 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate lawAdvanced knowledge of corporate law and regulations, with a focus on UAE legal frameworkProven experience in corporate secretarial dutiesStrong proficiency in legal research and document preparationExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a mustExceptional organizational and time management abilitiesProficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office SuiteDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgmentExperience with corporate governance and regulatory complianceFamiliarity with international business practices and cross-border transactions
