Where is the work:
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
What you will do:
Support the Labor & Employment team by maintaining litigation reports and files, drafting correspondence, and optimizing workflowsAssist with employment litigation matters by issuing litigation hold notices, compiling and organizing discovery, and corresponding with external counselAssist with pre-dispute and administrative charges by participating in Company investigations, and drafting responses to correspondence from attorneys, federal and state agencies, and other regulatory authoritiesPrimary point of contact for employee information requests and subpoenasResearching specific legal issues and topicsAssist in the benefit plan claims procedure process, including reviewing and revising claim lettersResponsible for certain administrative duties, e.g., maintaining files, scheduling team meetings.What you will bring:
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies5-10+ years of paralegal or comparable experienceStrong professionalism and skill in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsDemonstrated leadership in managing multiple priorities while consistently meeting aggressive and time-sensitive deadlinesMust be a proactive and forward-thinking and demonstrate initiativeMust be able to work in a team-oriented and fun but fast-paced environmentPreferred, not required:
Paralegal CertificatePrevious experience with e-billing and matter management systemsPrevious experience overseeing a litigation docket and knowledge of ERISAProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePointAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:
