The Position

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

As a Senior P&C Project Manager & Agile Coach, you will play a pivotal role within Roche’s People Support Solutions (PSS) organization and the Customer Experience Area of Practice. You are entrusted with leading and delivering complex, high-impact global and regional People & Culture (HR) transformation projects—from ideation to execution—ensuring alignment with Roche’s strategic goals, compliance requirements, and evolving business needs.

You will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams, managing C-level stakeholders, and applying project and change management best practices, including agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Design Thinking). You’ll work closely with senior leaders to ensure business benefits are realized, and user experience is central to all outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and own full project lifecycles: from scope definition and planning to execution, delivery, and closure of large-scale HR transformation initiatives across geographies.

Establish strong project governance and align stakeholders, sponsors, and steering committees around clear objectives, milestones, and business outcomes.

Build and coach high-performing, cross-cultural project teams—local and remote—fostering agility, accountability, and collaboration throughout the journey.

Drive stakeholder engagement and influence at the executive level, ensuring strong buy-in from C-level leaders and integration of their perspectives into project decisions.

Develop and implement change management, communication, and training strategies to support adoption and sustainment of new processes or tools.

Apply a fit-for-purpose methodology (agile, hybrid, or waterfall) based on project context, ensuring flexibility while meeting business needs and quality standards.

Track and manage all aspects of delivery using industry best practices (e.g., RAID management, project health checks, KPIs), and ensure budget and resources are optimized.

Serve as an Agile Coach, mentoring individuals and teams on agile ways of working, embedding an agile mindset across the P&C organization.

Provide hands-on coaching, tools, and frameworks to build project and agile maturity in the team and across the broader network.

Proactively identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and champion continuous improvement in service delivery.

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Project Management, or a related field.

5–7+ years of global project management experience, ideally in the People & Culture / HR space, with a track record of leading transformational projects.

Demonstrated experience influencing and engaging C-level stakeholders in complex, matrixed organizations.

Proven ability to lead HR transformation initiatives, including digital implementations, operating model shifts, and process redesign.

Certified in Project Management (PMI/PMP), Agile methodologies (Scrum), and Change Management. Design Thinking certification is a plus.

Strong command of project tools and digital collaboration platforms, preferably Google Workspace and enterprise project management systems.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus based on region (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese).

Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills—able to influence without authority and drive decision-making across senior stakeholder groups.

A natural coach and mentor, passionate about enabling others and contributing to a learning and improvement culture.

Please note: Resumes must be submitted in English, as our interview panel may include participants from outside your local country.
