NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to join the Database Engineering team within the Enterprise Technology Organization. This is a fully remote contract role supporting a global life sciences environment and requires strong hands on experience with Oracle database technologies and cloud integrations. Must Have Qualifications Eight plus years of experience administering Oracle databases in enterprise environments Eight plus years of experience with shell scripting for automation and operational support Eight plus years of experience supporting Exadata and ZFS infrastructure Eight plus years of experience with Oracle RAC environments Five plus years of experience installing troubleshooting and tuning Oracle GoldenGate across Oracle Database, S3 and Aurora databases Five plus years of experience with Exadata Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC) Five plus years of experience with Oracle database partitioning and automation Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS technologies including RDS and Aurora Experience working with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) Experience supporting GoldenGate replication on SQL Server Experience implementing GoldenGate replication using PostgreSQL and MySQL as source systems Day to Day Responsibilities The Senior Oracle DBA will support enterprise database platforms within a shared services organization. Daily responsibilities include approximately forty percent hands on work with Exadata and GoldenGate replication setup and tuning, forty percent focused on Oracle internals and performance optimization and twenty percent supporting Oracle database upgrades and AWS migrations. This role requires close collaboration with senior DBAs and architects and the ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp up time. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
