Job Summary
The Senior Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Engineering, Procurement, and Production Operations by applying broad functional expertise and a strong understanding of U.S. Government asset management protocols. This job is located in Clearwater, FL and is 100% onsite.
This role is responsible for maintaining government-approved business systems to ensure compliance with federal regulations (specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1), customer requirements, and internal aerospace policies. Operating with minimal supervision, the Senior Operations Coordinator supports daily activities related to Government Property Management across the 10 recognized outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead contract management activities, including contract closeout, coordination with Disposition Leads for Plant Clearance, and assisting Program Managers with contract asset/material transfers and customer issue resolution.Oversee new WBS setup and reporting in SAP; serve as a key SAP user by running reports and ensuring accurate data for performance tracking.Drive compliance and risk mitigation efforts by developing and executing corrective action plans, supporting audit preparation, and maintaining integrity in contract and asset processes.Mentor and guide program offices and junior staff, offering support on daily tasks, audits, inventories, and special projects as needed.Participate in process improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma, RCCA, Gemba walks, and Kaizen teams to support continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts.Interpret and execute contract requirements, Statements of Work (SOWs), and outcome metrics to ensure compliance and performance alignment.Foster strong collaboration with custodians, Program Managers, Contracts personnel, and the Material Management team to support operational goals.Support internal Tier accountability boards and escalation models, ensuring effective issue resolution and performance tracking across teams.Collaborate cross-functionally with custodians, coordinators, and site stakeholders to ensure compliance with procedures and to implement process changes impacting multiple groups.Must possess core competencies in U.S. Government FAR 52.245-1 requirements for contractors, including a solid understanding of the 10 Government Property Management Outcomes.Basic Qualifications
U.S. citizenship.Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; a high school diploma and 3+ additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.Prior experience with government property management and familiarity with standard industry concepts.Experience with PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment).Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in SAP and working knowledge of property systems such as eQUIP, AssetSmart, or equivalent.KBR Benefits
