Job Responsibilities :Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for strengthening Razer’s offline retail presence across Japan by driving channel marketing initiatives, in-store branding, and experiential activations. Your primary focus will be on elevating Razer’s visibility and performance across retail partners such as Yodobashi, Bic Camera, Tsukumo, and other specialty stores. You will collaborate closely with distributors, retail partners, and the Regional HQ in Singapore to execute retail campaigns, optimize in-store experiences, and enhance customer engagement. In addition to offline responsibilities, you will provide support for the online storefronts of these retailers to ensure consistency in branding and promotions.Offline Retail & Channel Marketing (Primary Focus)
Plan and execute offline retail marketing campaigns, including in-store activations, community engagement, retail events, consumer demos, and seasonal promotional rollouts.
Lead in-store branding efforts across major Japanese retailers, ensuring strong brand presence, accurate product representation, and alignment with global brand standards.
Manage visual merchandising across stores - optimize planograms, enhance product displays, and collaborate with store staff to maximize customer engagement and improve sell-through.
Coordinate retail product launches, including POP materials, demo units, staff training, and promotional setup.
Identify and secure high-impact in-store branding opportunities to drive visibility and conversion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail managers, distributor partners, and store staff through regular communication and collaboration.
Conduct routine store visits to assess retail execution, inventory health, competitor activity, and overall brand compliance; provide structured reporting and action recommendations.
Online Retail (Support Focus)
Support the online storefronts of Japanese retailers (e.g., Yodobashi.com, BicCamera.com) by ensuring accurate product content, promotional alignment, and retail readiness.
Coordinate with retail partners to ensure that online brand visibility and messaging mirror offline campaigns.
Assist with monitoring online performance indicators provided by retail partners and support follow-up actions where relevant.
Cross-Functional / Operational
Work closely with the Singapore HQ marketing team to ensure alignment on branding, promotional calendars, and activation strategy.
Manage channel marketing budgets, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of funds across retail initiatives.
Use CRM insights, market trends, and retail performance analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Prepare and present weekly retail activity and performance reports to management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
