Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Senior OB Scrub Technician is a professional caregiver who works under the direction of an RN.They provide direct patient care and acts as a scrub technician for OB surgical procedures.The Senior OB Scrub Technician oversees the orientation of OB Scrub Technicians and assesses initial and annual competency of OB Scrub Technicians.The Senior OB Scrub Technician assumes responsibility and accountability for organizing and maintaining supplies and charges to ensure an efficient work environment.
Qualifications

Minimum:

Three (3) years acute care hospital experience as an Obstetrical Technician.High School Graduate or equivalent.BLS-CPRBasic computer skills.

Preferred:

Scrub course or Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) preferred.Current training in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers. (CT RBLS)Overview
