**We are searching for the best talent for Senior NPI Process Excellence Technician to be in Ciudad Juarez.**
**Purpose:** Under supervision of NPI Process Excellence Manager, the Technician will have a key role giving support to engineering teams with capacity studies and continuous improvement for new products.
**You will be responsible for:**
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Monitor through periodic reviews the proper application of standardized operation procedures based on the usage of lean manufacturing tools.
+ Develop improvements oriented to lean manufacturing principles for new processes, and manage changes related to them.
+ Report to NPI Process Excellence Manager progress and risk according to the implementation of the new processes’ improvements.
+ Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
+ Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
+ For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
+ Performs other duties assigned as needed
+ Analyzes data and trends.
+ Identifies improvements and innovation opportunities focused on optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Provides information on projects’ progress and/or activities to project or area leaders.
+ Coordinates with training department the necessary actions to complete training matrix for new products lines based on proposed design.
+ Executes protocols for evaluations and process changes.Develops and writes drafts for new procedures or changes applicable to them.
+ Drives and documents dynamic changes within software applications such as, but not limited to, MES.
+ Implements workstations’ modifications.
+ Manages equipment and tools installations within clean room, following applicable procedures.
+ Hosts suppliers and facilitates their time on site.
+ Receives equipment, tools and/or prototypes at receiving area, as well as manage entrance and exit of them from/to the site, following applicable procedures.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**
+ High school diploma or technical degree are minimum required
+ From 4 to 6 years. Knowledge in medical products industry preferent.
+ English language preferent.
+ High level of creativity
+ Proactive
+ Basic knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and/or six sigma expected.
+ Or currently studying for a Professional Degree in Engineering with half of total credits completed (preferent).
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS**
+ Preferent have knowledge in medical products industry and/or 6 sigma or lean manufacturing.
+ Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred.
+ Skill to use computer packages (e.g., Microsoft Office, Power Point, AutoCAD, Minitab, Flexism, etc.)
+ Windchill PLM System (preferent)
+ MES Camstar (preferent)
+ Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and/or six sigma tools expected.
