Senior Network Specialist
Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site (Mondays and Thursdays, typically)
About the Role
As a Senior Network Specialist within the Infrastructure and IT Security Operations team at our client, you will play a key role in the integration and evolution of our network infrastructures.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the performance, reliability, and security of the organization while supporting large-scale, high-impact projects.
Your Responsibilities
Analyze business challenges and identify infrastructure and network needs across stakeholders.
Design and recommend secure, scalable, and innovative network solutions to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Lead cross-functional telecommunications projects, fostering collaboration and promoting operational excellence.
Collect, model, and present key network insights to guide management decisions and strategies.
Maintain advanced expertise in cutting-edge network technologies to anticipate trends and future needs.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize recurring or complex tasks, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines for consistent, modular, and continuous deployments.
Communicate effectively, demonstrate teamwork, and show initiative in all aspects of your work.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in network technologies and infrastructure.
Certifications: Proven experience managing networks in cloud environments, primarily AWS.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency with Cisco, Checkpoint, ISE, VPN, Load Balancer, DNS, Proxy, QoS.
Strong understanding of network and routing protocols: TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF.
Skilled in deploying, configuring, and optimizing complex, heterogeneous networks.
Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, Zabbix, LogicMonitor, Splunk.
Automation and scripting skills using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Python.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies to ensure fast and high-quality deliveries.
