We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Ensure customer networks operate efficiently with maximum efficiency and minimal downtime + Install, configure, and support regional and cloud firewall + Investigate and resolve network security incidents, identifying and mitigating threats quickly + Define and implement firewall rules + Collaborate with teams to analyze and remediate vulnerabilities. + Design and implement remediation and recovery plans for enterprise systems + Apply and maintain enterprise network security solutions and design standards + Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and provide preventative recommendations + Proactively identify and mitigate service-impacting issues + Follow established “Move to Production” procedures, including tool and documentation reviews + Evaluate new firewall technologies and make recommendations + May be required to participate in after-hours, on-call rotation/support to respond to network and firewall incidents. **Firewall Engineer Qualifications:** + Relevant certifications (preferred): CCSE, CCNA, CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, ITIL, CCSA, GCFW, GCIA, GSEC, IAT2. + 3+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-level firewalls **Education:** + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Security, Electrical Engineering, or related field. **Desired skills for firewall engineering include:** + Expertise in firewall technologies and concepts (e.g., IDS, IPS, VPNs) + Knowledge of TCP/UDP protocols and network traffic behavior + Experience with SIEM platforms and log analysis + Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills + Team-oriented with global collaboration experience **Desired experience for firewall engineers includes:** + Active participation in global team projects + Hands-on experience in enterprise-level security implementations + Demonstrated ability to resolve issues methodically and maintain clear communication during troubleshooting + Demonstrates keen interest in continuous learning and professional development + Must be fluent in the English language with proficiency in written and verbal English communication skill **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
