Job Description A telecom company on the east coast is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This company is currently replacing their legacy application, IBM Cast Iron, with Azure for their integration services layer. They are needing support on the networking functions within Azure. You will be responsible for reviewing problem areas to solution and provide recommendations to fix those problems. You need to be a critical thinker, have an analytical mindset, and be able to address and propose solutions. It is important to have general networking knowledge, but specifically have worked with Native Azure Network Services. In addition to supporting their Azure Network environment, you will be responsible for general Networking support to the organization. You need to have experience with Cisco Firepower, Cisco Networking, and Meraki device support. This is a 6 month contract position with the opportunity to extend. It is a hybrid role out of Bethpage (Tues-Thurs). The hourly rate for this role ranges from $55-75/hr, and benefits are offered throughout the contract period. Skills and Requirements 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer 3+ years of experience with Native Azure Network Services Experience within a Cisco networking environment - Cisco Firepower, Cisco Networking Experience with Meraki Devices Azure Network Engineer Certification Experience working in the cable or telecom industry
