**MANTECH** seeks a motivated and customer-oriented **Senior Network Engineer** to join our team in **Boulder, CO** . This role is part of the Infrastructure Support (IS) team and is critical for maintaining the stability, integrity, and security of a high-impact large scale enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in network operations, security, and cloud services. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Plan, architect, engineer, and propose improvements to an enterprise government network and systems architecture. You'll operate and maintain infrastructure at multiple geographically distributed sites on a 24/7 on-call basis, ensuring system availability and reliable performance. This includes managing network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. + Perform automated network and host vulnerability scanning, analyze the results, and take directed action to mitigate vulnerabilities. + Identify opportunities and transition services to cloud service providers to improve efficiency and reduce the maintenance burden. + Report all incidents to the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and System Owner (SO) and assist in investigations as directed + Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and related security documentation. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining network documentation, including configurations, network mapping, and operational procedures **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience. + Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs. + Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software. Preferred experience with **Palo Alto** and **Fortinet** firewalls and products as well as SIEM systems. + Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and remediation processes. + Experience with a variety of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows **Clearance Requirements** : + Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance prior to starting this position. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
