Position: Senior Network Engineer

Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in network engineering, security infrastructure, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record designing and supporting scalable, highly available, and secure network environments, including virtualized overlays and media production systems.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

BS in Computer Science, Distributed Systems, or Electrical Engineering.Advanced industry certifications (e.g., JNCIP/JNCIE, CCNP/CCIE, PCNSA/PCNSE, ACE).Minimum 12 years of hands-on engineering and operations experience with network technologies.Expertise in security infrastructure: 802.1X, NAC, cryptography, IPSEC, firewalls, intrusion/threat protection, AAA, RADIUS, DNS, NTP, monitoring, and logging.Strong experience with Juniper, Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto solutions.Proven background implementing scalable, secure VPN environments.Experience deploying and supporting Media Production environments within Studio or Post-Production settings.Strong knowledge of MPLS, IS-IS, BGP, OSPF, Segment Routing, RSVP-TE, LDP, VPLS, MPLS L3VPNs, EVPNs, VxLAN, IPv6, and emerging technologies.Hands-on experience developing automation/orchestration solutions (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, etc.) to reduce operational complexity.Familiarity with SIEM tools for incident monitoring and response.Experience with private and public cloud networking design/implementation.Knowledge of Infoblox DDI solutions.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deadlines.Positive, team-oriented attitude with proven critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Infrastructure automation expertise (Python, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).Cloud networking technologies: IP fabrics, VXLAN, SDN, NFV, OpenFlow, and API-driven infrastructure.Experience with Linux systems administration.Knowledge of networked storage technologies (SMB/CIFS, NFS, GPFS, object store).Exposure to high-performance I/O technologies (fiber channel, Infiniband).
