Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is hiring a Senior Network Architect for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Infrastructure Support I (ISS I) program. This is a hybrid position, and the candidate will perform the function primarily at FDIC Headquarters in Arlington, VA. Primary Responsibilities
Manage technical network solutions and frameworks.Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.Design, test, and inspect network systems.Perform network planning, modeling, and analysis.Install and maintain hardware such as cables, hubs, routers, and wireless adaptors.Design, implement and manage security countermeasures when network vulnerabilities arise.Analyze, engineer, and execute software functions.Develop and deliver professional proposals and design documentation.Manage technology vendors.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field11+ years of experience working with information technologiesExpertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex networks, including LANs, WANs, and cloud environments.Strong knowledge of network security protocols, best practices, and experience with firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.Extensive knowledge of computer operations and systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCertifications courses such as CompTIA A+ or CCENTExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesKeen attention to detailAdvanced ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects.Knowledge of systems and software engineering to optimally integrate subject expertise in software solution designs.Understanding of security standard methodologies.Advanced ability to develop innovative voice and video solutions.Clearance Requirements

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
