Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a Senior Network Administrator. The candidate will design, implement and maintain secure data network solutions. This role involves managing network hardware and software, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, and optimizing network performance.
Strong documentation, communication, and project management skills are essential, as well as a deep understanding of networking protocols, virtualization, and cloud services. The ability to think critically, solve problems, and provide solutions is a must. The candidate will be expected to perform their duties under minimal supervision.

Must be a US CitizenCandidate must have a current TS/SCI clearance with PolyBachelor’s degree in a technology related discipline or equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a degree20+ years’ experience with computer networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs10+ years experience with Linux5+ years experience with scripting languages such as BASH or PythonDeep understanding of networking technologiesDesired Skills:
Hold one or more Advanced Networking CertificationsExperience with Network Security AccreditationExperience with Atlassian software (Confluence, JIRA)Experience with a wide variety of open source software and utilitiesBackground in Network Security and Intrusion DetectionFamiliar with server and networking equipment rack installationsSecurity Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.
