Senior National Operations Manager for Mechanical Services

The Operations Manager for Mechanical Services is an expert in advising local Branch Leadership on effectively running their HVAC service business. They will be assigned a territory for primary support and will also assist the Mechanical Services Business Segment in delivering operational improvements. This role has a wide range of responsibilities from providing local mechanics training on advanced services to rolling out operational improvements to local and national Leadership teams. This position is instrumental in helping leadership that has less experience in mechanical services to run this portion of their business profitably and achieve expected growth targets. Work is performed remotely in home office when not traveling to Headquarters or Branch locations. When not traveling they will use Microsoft Teams to interact with local Branches and other national leaders.As a Mechanical Services National Operation Manager, you will: Assist the Branch offices in their assigned region with profitably growing the Mechanical Service Business. This includes activities to continuously improve mechanical business performance. Assist local Operations Managers with service agreement and project cost review as well as execution planning Uncover areas for improvement both nationally and in local Branches. Afterward, assist in developing and implementing business solutions. Participate in Mechanical Branch Business Planning (MMBP) Workshops Facilitates enabling best practice sharing across branches and amongst other business units When necessary, assist our National Business Managers and the Local Sales team to properly scope service agreements and retrofit projects to mitigate risk Provides transparency on status and progress of the Mechanical Business Segment and contributes to reporting and communication You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 15+ years of experience delivering HVAC Services to building owners / property managers Must be able to demonstrate:Deep knowledge of the mechanical service business in estimating, proposing, properly scoping, and implementation of both service agreements and retrofit projectsStrong customer service skillVerbal and written communications skills in English Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize their own workload Strong interpersonal skills to work with the national and branch operations management teams as well as mechanics in the field Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs This position will require up to 50% travel Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of SAP, TrakRef, SharePoint, and other business systems Experience in training field employees Experience in public speaking Highly capable using Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs Previous experience delivering Mechanical Services to customers in the field You’ll benefit from: Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
