The Role:
As a Senior Mobile App Engineer, you are a crucial contributor to one of our game initiatives. As an expert in mobile app engineering, you deliver highly functional and quality solutions that extend our product on the native side. You’ll work from our Helsinki office or your home in Finland with a team that has a hybrid working style.
The ideal engineer for this role enjoys any development stage and thrives in a fast and changing environment. They are driven to improve team processes, reactive to the concerns of players and stakeholders across the organization, and able to balance innovation risks and opportunities against release schedules and ambitious project scope.
Responsibilities:
Native app development of our product for both iOS and Android
SDK integration, maintenance, and testing
Development of app-level specific features like push notifications, etc.
Driving quality by fixing issues and bugs, incl. collaborating with QA.
Taking ownership of your deliverables
Providing input and insights on technical matters
Collaborating with other stakeholders in the game team
Resolving performance and stability issues
Creating and maintaining relevant technical documentation
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
Experience in native mobile app development on both iOS and Android
Swift, ObjectiveC, Kotlin, Java, C# experience relevant to native app development
Experience working with .NET MAUI
Understanding of mobile app design guidelines and platform specifics
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience in professional, team-based software development with shipped product(s), and having worked on a live product
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proactive, self-starter mentality and a can-do attitude
Good communication skills and proficiency in English
