Key Responsibilities:

KBR is seeking a Senior Military Capabilities Analyst to support Department of the Air Force technology and capability investment, management, and decision processes. The position will provide direct support for drafting, reviewing, and editing documents, presentations recommending future Department of the Air Force technology and capability investments and advise and assist in tracking program management and budget execution activities. Essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Review, document, and edit annual program activity summaries, budget justification documents, and program security documentation.

Participate in and prepare presentations for program reviews, requirements reviews, technology reviews, and investment reviews.

Review and submit recommended edits to Department of the Air Force guidance and management documentation.

Provide presentation support in senior leader decision meetings.

Support Department of the Air Force interaction for inter-agency equities

Support Department of the Air Force interaction with industry partners

Enhance Department of the Air Force capabilities and program security, requirements, and mitigations relative to required directives, capability priorities, cost, and schedule.

Location: On-site

Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%

Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

10 years of experience at Air Force Major Command staff level, Combatant Command Staff, Joint Staff, Office of Secretary of Defense Staff, or similar level DoD Staff to include a minimum of 3 years of experience in Hq USAF staff or support positions.

In-depth knowledge of DoD and Air Force budgeting and execution • Experience in Air Force programming, requirements, and/or acquisition processes and systems.

Experience presenting recommendations to very senior leaders to include engagements at the 4-star level.

Experience interfacing with the US intelligence community

Able to work at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Joint Base Andrews and/or the Pentagon as needed by the customer.

Able to travel ~25% of time for program meetings.

TS/SCI Clearance is required for this role.

Desired:

USAF Weapons School/Test Pilot School/Senior Developmental Education graduate

Operational experience with air, ICBM, space, cyber and/or intelligence activities • Experience with DoD Special Access Programs

Experience with IC Controlled Access Programs

Experience with DoD and/or IC Security Classification Guides

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs
