. Lead all middle-tier initiatives required for platform maintenance, modernization, and evolution, including containerization and cloud adoption.
. Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and setup of on-premise and AWS cloud environments, including provisioning and management of compute, storage, and networking resources (e.g., EC2, VPC, security groups, IAM).
. Design, deploy, and support middleware platforms running on OpenShift and Kubernetes, including containerized application runtimes and supporting services.
. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, middleware software, and platform services across virtual machines and container platforms.
. Assist with client implementations, software deployments, CI/CD packaging, and release deliverables as required.
. Monitor system and application performance based on service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure that they are met across VM-based and containerized environments.
. Restore services as quickly as possible; participate in root-cause analysis, develop and implement permanent solutions, and establish mechanisms to monitor, track, and report on service levels using metrics and dashboards.
. Provide on-call support as needed for critical middleware and platform issues.
. Ensure consistency with architectural standards, security policies, and industry best practices, including AWS Well-Architected and Kubernetes best practices.
. Take ownership and responsibility for the resolution of middleware-related technical issues.
