Job Description Our client is looking to bring on a Senior Microsoft Purview Engineer that will be responsible for advancing the organization’s data security strategy across all brands by managing Microsoft Purview solutions such as Compliance Manager, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Loss Prevention, DSPM, Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management. This position involves administering and configuring Purview tools, designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining controls to ensure policy effectiveness, and partnering with business units to validate adequacy of security measures. The role also includes maintaining compliance with regulations like GDPR, PCI DSS, and HIPAA, conducting audits and assessments, tracking and analyzing KPIs to drive improvements, and reviewing global data security policies to recommend updates aligned with evolving standards and best practices. Strong expertise in Microsoft Data Discovery, Data Classification, and Sensitivity Labels, combined with analytical skills and clear communication, is essential for success in this dynamic environment. Skills and Requirements • Must have over 10 years of IT experience at a global scale, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity focused on data security programs • Strong hands on experience of Microsoft Purview solutions, including: o Compliance Manager o Data Lifecycle Management o Data Loss Prevention o DSPM o Information Protection o Insider Risk Management • Experience of data protection regulations and standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and HIPAA • Strong expertise in implementing and managing Microsoft Purview solutions (including Compliance Manager and Information Protection) • Experience with encryption methods for data at rest and in transit • Experience working with global data security programs and technologies
