Join our global team at Lundbeck as a Senior Medical Specialist, neuroimmunology and make a significant impact in the field of neurology disorders. In this role, you will oversee clinical drug development (phase IB-IV) and provide scientific support to clinical trials and other clinical development activities. You will act as a key member of our Trial Management Team and Clinical Focus Team, contributing to the planning and execution of clinical trials to current scientific, ethical, practical, and regulatory standards.
**Your new role**
As a Senior Medical Specialist, neuroimmunology at Lundbeck, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical drug development and providing scientific support to clinical trials within the therapeutic area of neuroimmunology. You will act as a Clinical Trial Lead and Medical Expert for clinical trials, contributing to the planning and execution of innovative clinical development programs. You will also provide clinical input to early research projects as well as business development activities. In addition, the role holds the potential for acting as Clinical Lead, depending on qualifications and portfolio needs. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external partners, including scientific experts and regulatory bodies, ensuring your work has a worldwide impact and a significant internal footprint. The Therapeutic Area department at Lundbeck is a part of Global Clinical Development that reports into our Research and Development business area. You will join our team of highly scientifically skilled colleagues who take pride in driving innovative clinical trials and development programs across many different therapeutic areas. The position is based in Valby.
**What you bring to the team**
+ A Medical Doctor (MD) degree and post-graduate clinical training and practice focusing on neurology/ neuroimmunology or related therapeutic areas.
+ A PhD degree and/ or significant research experience within a relevant field is considered an advantage.
+ Clinical development experience from the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry or academia is considered an advantage.
+ Strong skills in presenting clinical data at scientific and clinical internal and external events and meetings.
+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
+ Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
+ Accountability and adaptability in dynamic environments.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external partners.
