Job Description

Reports to: Medical Lead, Oncology

Primary Function/Objective:
The (Sr.) Medical Scientific Liaison plays a key role in advancing oncology and precision medicine efforts by launching and managing solid tumor products and companion diagnostics. Responsibilities include engaging with healthcare professionals to provide clinically relevant information, fostering scientific dialogue, supporting strategic projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the medical department.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Cultivate relationships with thought leaders and facilitate research and educational initiatives.Support teams internally, provide scientific updates, and collaborate cross-functionally.Deliver scientific presentations and engage thought leaders in research and advisory roles.Gather and communicate field intelligence and develop medical strategies.Guide precision medicine initiatives and evaluate scientific accuracy.Contribute to strategic plans and engage with local pathology partners.Maintain deep knowledge of therapeutic areas and screen scientific literature.Deliver medical education programs and manage diagnostic research projects.Provide support to marketing strategies ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Experience in solid tumor is the must, with Precision Medicine is a great plus Educational Background: Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) preferred, or a master's degree in medical, pharmacy, scientific disciplines, or significant relevant experience.Industry Experience: Strong background in diagnostics, medical affairs, or related fields, with experience collaborating in the pharmaceutical industry.Expertise in Precision Medicine: Understanding of precision medicine and companion diagnostics, including regulatory landscapes.Communication and Relationship Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.Organizational and Collaborative Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.Therapeutic Area Knowledge: Experience developing expert knowledge in assigned therapeutic areas.Scientific and Regulatory Expertise: Expertise in clinical research methods and understanding of regulations.Adaptability and Learning Ability: Quick to learn and adapt to new areas.Language Proficiency: Proficiency in written and oral English is desirable.Customer Orientation and Compliance: High commitment to compliance, emphasizing scientific quality and integrity.
