Senior Medical Assistant - Express Care OR-Pearl
**Description** Works closely with a team of clinic staff including physicians and advanced level providers to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care. The Senior MA duties include assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests under the supervision of a licensed medical provider. The Senior MA is also responsible for front desk, patient registration, insurance billing and payment collection/cashiering in addition to their patient care responsibilities. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them. **Required Qualifications:** + Coursework/Training: Graduation from a Certified MA Program. + Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association + Upon hire: Ability to pass proficiency testing following Epic EMR training + 3 years recent experience working as a Medical Assistant (or MA I), or 2 years working as a MA II, or Lead Medical Assistant. + Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced healthcare environment, including handling confidential data with discretion. + 3 years experience in a healthcare or medical office/clinic setting. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Coursework/Training: Some College. + Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification + Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience, preferably EPIC. **Why Join Providence?** Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
