Senior Medical Assistant

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for participating in day to day clinical care of patientsPerforms patient intake process (vital signs, history, medication review)Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policiesPerforms clinical procedures (injections, ear lavage, POC testing)Assists the providers with minor proceduresMaintains clinical logs (exam room maintenance, temperature logs, blood specimen logs)Submits electronic referrals for additional servicesEnrolls / responds to electronic patient messages in the patient portal programProcesses medication refills per protocolMakes / takes patient callsSchedule appointments when requiredOther responsibilities as assignedOrdering and overseeing of suppliesEnsuring quality controls of clinic

Required Qualifications:

Graduate from a Medical Assistant program / school, or a current CPR card for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS) or willing to obtain within 30 days1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant

  

Preferred Qualifications:

Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant2+ years of clinical experiencePediatric experience including VFC'sEMR experienceExperience in working with HMO, PPO, MedicareExperience training fellow Medical Assistants

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
