Requirements:
4-year minimum college education in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering 10 years of related experience in Mechanical or Controls 10 years of tooling and equipment assembly experience 10 years working with automation systems (robotics, vision systems, conveyors, etc.) 5 years of shop floor Kaizen/lean/6 Sigma experience 5 years of tooling and equipment installation/field commissioning experiencePreferred Skills:
Familiarity with Industry trends such as Ind.4.0, IoT, AI Analytics, Augmented Reality, Machine Learning Responsibilities: Develop companywide standards for safety and regulatory compliance in machine guarding and LOTO procedures Own the automation strategy roadmap to align with company goals for efficiency and quality Support new business quotation processes by developing lean processes from scratch Oversee project management for new program integrators to track equipment and tooling timing Build relationships with tooling/equipment integrators to meet customer requirements Partner with product engineering on DFM/DFA reviews for manufacturability with automation in mind Collaborate with IT/MES/FMS teams for data integration and traceability support Analyze data to reduce/eliminate equipment downtimePay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
