Senior Mechanical Inspector (Static & Rotating Equipment)

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering More than 15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas field projects including experience in activities relevant to rotating equipment and machinery, including pumps, turbines, compressors, and engines. Must be experienced as Site TPI for inspection and monitoring of mechanical works related to rotating (pumps, compressors, turbines) and static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, boilers). Ability to interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, datasheets, P&IDs, and technical specifications. Ensure equipment is installed and aligned per manufacturer specifications and project procedures (shaft alignment, grouting, soft foot, etc.). Witness equipment testing such as hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, mechanical run tests, and alignment checks. Monitor welding, fabrication, assembly, and erection of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with WPS, PQR, and project specifications. Verify material certificates, inspection and test reports (ITRs), and documentation as per ITPs. Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports. Computer literate and familiarity with International Standards related to Mechanical activities (ASME, API, ASTM, BS, etc.) Holding UAE Driving license.
