Provide responsive technical engineering advice and service to Operational and Functional Teams in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide insightful and key Asset performance improvement inputs.Supervise and manage contractors, as necessary, to achieve the required work output.
Perform administrative tasks in an effective and efficient manner and contribute to the achievement of Asset/Resource Team goals and objectives.
Actively participate in the Engineering activities to ensure that the maintenance systems are integrated and operated effectively in accordance with the Business Plan, and also operate safely and efficiently in accordance with maintenance Eni’s MSG.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the required technical standards, processes and procedures and operating effectively and in compliance with legislation, the Facility Safety Case and Company’s standards.
Ensure assigned discipline Engineering activities are focussed to delivering safe performance with maximum reliability.
Ensure costs are controlled and managed in order to achieve business goals by monitoring contracts performance within the group and supporting the building of the budgets (ABC methodology).
Provide technical leadership to technician groups as well as foster an effective and efficient team working environment to ensure successful completion of technical activities.
Provide discipline Engineering input into multi-discipline Engineering projects.
Participate in other project activities (i.e. SIL, HAZOP Review process).
Develop and implement minor rotating & mechanical equipment modifications/upgrade for off/onshore sites in accordance with MOC procedure.
Capture any opportunities to new or improved technologies suitable for the area of application.
Develop, maintain and manage networks and relationships with key personnel including those from regulatory bodies.
Management of assigned contracts and feedback follow up in term of expenditures and works execution.
Provide discipline engineering support to the Facilities Make Safe (FMS), Decommissioning and Carbon Capture, Usage & Storage (CCUS) projects.
HSE and Compliance Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with Eni HSE Management standards and the HSE Management System. Ensure full compliance with all HSE regulatory and legislative requirements. Promote a risk-based approach to operations, supporting technical specialists and HSE staff to manage risk. Ensure that the requirements of the Safety Environmental Critical elements are managed to maintain asset integrity. Ensure adherence to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures and standards. To participate in Emergency Response activities, as required. To fully comply with Eni Code of Ethics and Law 231 principles.Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry or other similar Heavy Industrial environment, preferably including a substantial period of direct engineering support to operational Offshore and Onshore facilities. Strong technical Knowledge and proven design, construction, commissioning and operational experience of rotating equipment, power generation and lifting equipment. Strong Knowledge of British and European Technical Standards applicable to Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment. Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline Chartered Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers Familiar and previous experience with project management principles and fundamentals Available to undertake HUET and BOSIET Certification Understanding of Risk Assessment Awareness on Safety Case and Bowties approach on Major Accident Hazards Office based/Smart working with requirement to visit offshore & onshore sites when required
