**Job Description**
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. In this role, you will lead the design and development of mechanical systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, contributing to innovative solutions that shape the future of our industry.
+ Develop and oversee mechanical engineering designs for buildings and related infrastructure projects
+ Conduct feasibility studies and produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations
+ Select and specify mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
+ Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, and process engineers, to deliver integrated solutions
+ Manage projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards
+ Perform technical reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers
+ Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering and water infrastructure
+ Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
+ Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
+ Conduct site visits and surveys to support design and implementation processes
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on buildings and infrastructure projects
+ Proven track record in delivering engineering designs, reports, drawings, and technical specifications
+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in water treatment plants, pumping stations, and related facilities
+ Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
+ Strong project management abilities, including budget and schedule control
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
+ Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in water infrastructure engineering
+ Experience with innovative design approaches and sustainable engineering solutions
+ Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
+ Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as needed
