The company's commitment to innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction has made it a trusted partner for industrial automation needs worldwide. **THE POSITION** As a **Senior Materials Management Manager,** you will be responsible for overseeing activities related to Planning control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions. You will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems. You will ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. You will develop material schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering. You will review and plan requirements for purchasing materials. You must prepare material requirement plans on a intercompany complex dependency network using enterprise resource and capacity planning systems. You will also lead with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. You will use your leadership and management skills, deep understanding of inventory management systems, and a strategic approach to Production Planning management. You will report directly to our Director of Master Production Planning, and you will work out of our Freeport, IL location. In this role, you will impact the company's bottom line by reducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow of materials for production. Your proactive approach to materials management contributes significantly to meeting production deadlines, enhancing overall business resilience, and customer satisfaction. **U.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS** Due to U.S. export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Drive to increase revenue and OTFP while decreasing past dues and inventory. + Develop and oversee comprehensive materials management strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. + Manage and control the Constrained Master Production Schedule for FG and Subassemblies in alignment with the latest executive Supply Plan + Drive accountability among the internal and cross functional teams for schedule attainment, clear to build, and SRO goals + Lead the monthly SIOP Site Supply Review + Oversee inventory levels, minimizing excess or obsolete stock while ensuring an uninterrupted flow of materials to meet production requirements. + Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal departments such as production, quality control, and finance. + Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Planning management function. **MUST HAVE** + 8+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, and logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. + Excellent communication and negotiation skills. + Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems. + SAP, team center, Kinaxis Rapid Response experience + Prior exposure to aerospace hardware tooling, test equipment, software, and licensing (mechanical and avionics) **WE VALUE** + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. + Production Planning management experience with complex multi-site interdependencies + Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and guide a team. + Experience in a global organization. + Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills + Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment. **COMPENSATION & BENEFITS** Incentive Eligible Salary Range: $147,000 - $184,000 For benefits information, please visit https://benefits.honeywell.com/ Current employees may visit HR Direct.
