What you will do:
As a Senior Material Handler, you will be responsible for material handling within a medical device distribution center including receiving, verifying incoming materials, supplies and finished goods; picking, packaging and shipping of inventory for a variety of domestic or export orders; returned goods inspection and disposition; and other inventory or warehouse tasks.
Receive and inspect goods returned from field locations, including instrument sets and implant kits. Coordinate with Customer Service, Quality, Accounting and Inventory Management to ensure proper dispositionReceive, unpack and warehouse incoming materials, products, and suppliesCheck incoming materials, supplies and finished goods against documentationSort and count materials, supplies and finished goods as neededMay make entries into inventory database and prepare periodic reportsAccurately pick and scan domestic or export orders, process product at FedEx terminalPackage product to meet shipping criteria, adhere to temp controls where applicable and assure correct items are boxed for the customer orderParticipate in routine stock counts and process improvement projectsMeet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekendsWhat you need:
