About the Department
The Analytics and Technology Solutions (ATS) team provides technology and system solutions to enable Advancement to meet aggressive fundraising goals and measure, analyze and predict growth in constituency giving and participation. Using an enterprise approach to data and systems, ATS creates a data and user environment that is consistent yet agile. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand program strategies, ATS develops data, reporting, and analytics solutions that lead to actionable outcomes and actualized goals.
Job Summary
This role liaises between the IT group and business to support the development and implementation of new systems and enhancements of existing systems. With moderate guidance, evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and uses elementary knowledge of University systems to recommend appropriate systems.
Responsibilities
Works closely with multiple teams within Advancement to develop strategies and configure technical systems to optimally deliver highly effective event, solicitation, and engagement communication programs. Collaborates with various internal stakeholders to build, test, and execute email segmentation, reporting, and campaigns within communication systems to align with business requirements. Oversees campaign setup and data from Marketo to Salesforce to ensure integrations are activated for the right programs and that responses are routing properly across Advancement systems. Builds Salesforce campaigns to guide campaign performance. Integrates data from various sources and tools to optimize content and messaging in programs by behaviors and personas. Updates marketing campaign workflows as changes to business requirements dictate. Contributes to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas where automation and operational efficiencies can enhance productivity and campaign effectiveness. Collaborates with software development teams and cross-functional stakeholders in building new and enhancing existing systems by testing, debugging, and implementing software solutions. With moderate direction from others, provides ongoing administration and support for existing communications systems to ensure data integrity and system performance. Provides training in marketing systems for team members and partners. Creates and maintains documentation for all processes related to Digital Operations. Monitors campaigns and their effectiveness by creating insightful reports and dashboards to support strategic marketing decisions. Supports the marketing team in analyzing and reporting marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies. Provides Tier 2 support for alumni technical support response to help constituents gain access to and use Advancement Communications sites and University services. Seeks opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance, including attending webinars, seminars, building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions.Implements functional, system, and program specifications. Assists in revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary, under the direction of more experienced colleagues.Supports the IT development group in building new systems and enhance existing systems. Assists in coding, testing, debugging, and implementing software solutions. Prepares documentation on system enhancements and/or alternatives.Administers new IT developments, keeps up with evolving business requirements, and uses knowledge of University systems to recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.Performs other related work as needed.

Professional experience in nonprofit management, development, alumni relations, marketing, public relations, sales or similar field.Familiar with data analysis and communicating complex topics to non-technical people.Background managing cross-team projects.Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Demonstrated skill and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available to Advancement, including Phoenix, the University's Donor Relationship Management System.Proficient in Microsoft Windows computer environment, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.Preferred Competencies

This position has a hybrid work schedule which includes weekly in office presence.Standard office environment.Travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business.Work evenings and weekends as needed.This position is located in Hyde Park at 5235 South Harper Court.Application Documents
