What will you do?

We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Senior Marketing Specialist to spearhead the creation and implementation of innovative marketing strategies that drive business growth and achieve excellence in sales for the Smart Infrastructure and Buildings sector. This senior role requires a creative thinker who can assess the larger organizational landscape while ensuring seamless alignment between marketing initiatives and business goals.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning & Leadership

Lead and develop comprehensive annual marketing strategies and manage related budgets to drive business objectives for smart buildings with a focus on vertical markets. Serve as a backup support for the marketing head and mentor junior team members, utilizing strong people management skills.

Campaign & Content Development

Plan, develop, and implement creative marketing strategies and plans, including brand campaigns, digital presence, advertising, lead generation, and event management. Oversee the creation of marketing collateral and coordinate with external vendors to manage marketing videos, social media campaigns, brochures, case studies, and other vital sales tools.

Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Collaboration

Conduct market analysis and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to garner insights and drive informed decision-making. Foster collaboration with other business units, corporate functions, and external partners on marketing communications activities to ensure message consistency and support transformational projects.

Communication & Engagement

Manage communication efforts with both internal and external audiences to ensure clarity and engagement. Enhance the business's online presence through strategic web and digital marketing initiatives.

Sales Enablement & Support

Assist in the development and execution of sales enablement programs to enhance sales performance. Oversee the management of product sample requests, sales demo distribution, and trade show assets. Provide ad hoc marketing support to various businesses as required.

What will you need to succeed?

Education: A post-secondary degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with significant relevant experience. Experience: Over 5-7 years of proven success in marketing and communications, including B2B marketing and social media expertise. Experience in people management is highly regarded. Skills & Competencies: Exceptional project and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with meticulous attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and holistically, analyzing the broader organizational context to innovate and drive cross-collaborative success within a matrixed organization. Flexible and resourceful, with the ability to adapt to change, take initiative, and maintain ethical and confidential standards. A collaborative team player who is eager to step in and contribute to team success. Technical skills: Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat tools, AI tools for productivity and social media platforms. Asset(s) | Preferred: Fluent bilingual (English / French) communication skills, both verbal and written, is highly preferred. People leadership: management, supervisory or team lead experience.
