The **Senior Marketing Manager, U.S. Campaigns** plays a critical role in translating marketing strategy into execution across the U.S. market—bridging the gap between high-level planning and in-market delivery. You’ll not only lead campaign execution—you’ll shape how we go to market, championing new ideas, testing new channels, and continuously evolving our approach to reach, engage, and convert educators in ways that challenge convention and inspire action. The ideal candidate brings both strategic insight and operational discipline, confidently driving cross-functional coordination with Product Marketing, Sales, and agency teams to ensure campaign excellence, speed to market, and localized relevance. The Senior Campaign Marketing Manager is especially vital during key demand periods like Back-to-School, where precision, speed, and flawless execution are essential to driving business outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** **Growth Mindset & Innovation** + Identify and test new campaign approaches—be it new content formats, messaging frameworks, or emerging channels—to stay ahead of market shifts and audience behavior. + Champion a test-and-learn culture within the campaign team, pushing for smart experimentation and bold thinking grounded in performance insights. + Propose new campaign concepts that align with broader brand storytelling and customer engagement goals. **Campaign Strategy and Execution Leadership:** + Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aligned with strategic business priorities and seasonal opportunities (e.g., BTS). + Shape and translate global strategy into bold, high-impact localized campaign plans that drive measurable results—while identifying new white space opportunities and championing ideas that break through the noise. **Cross-functional Coordination:** + Serve as a lead campaign integrator, working with Product Marketing, Digital, Performance and Agency teams to ensure campaign alignment and execution. + Partner with regional stakeholders to address market-specific needs, adapting messaging by audience segment. **Agency and Creative Oversight:** + Work closely with external agencies to deliver campaign assets that meet messaging, timing, and performance objectives. + Brief and guide agency teams to ensure creative and channel plans align with audience insights and campaign KPIs. **Performance Monitoring and Optimization:** + Track and analyze campaign performance, using insights to optimize future campaign planning and content development. + Deliver performance recaps and lead retrospectives that inform iterative improvement and strategic alignment. **Mentorship and Operational Guidance:** + Provide leadership and mentorship to Campaign Managers fostering collaboration and campaign rigor. + Establish campaign workflows and best practices that enable speed and consistency across campaign initiatives. + Lead with curiosity, helping the organization stay ahead of trends in education marketing and digital storytelling. **Market Responsiveness:** + Act as a point person for urgent campaign pivots, real-time adjustments, and localized marketing needs. + Ensure agility in campaign deployment while maintaining strategic cohesion. **Qualifications and Skills:** + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field or equivalent experience + 7+ years of experience in digital or integrated marketing, with proven success in campaign leadership roles. + Agency experience preferred + Demonstrated ability to move strategy into execution, managing complex, multi-channel marketing initiatives. + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies. + Analytical mindset with strong skills in marketing performance measurement and optimization. + Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** + Timely and accurate campaign launches. + Performance of regional campaigns (e.g., MQLs, CTR, engagement). + Campaign ROI and contribution to pipeline or revenue targets. + Stakeholder satisfaction and collaboration effectiveness. + Operational improvements (e.g., time to launch). Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows: The minimum full-time salary range is between $120,000 - $125,000.
