Senior Marketing & Communications Officer
We’re seeking a bilingual Senior Marketing & Communications Officer to join a purpose-driven team committed to creating meaningful impact in communities across Canada. As a key member of the communications team, you’ll help define the organization’s voice and strengthen its brand presence across multiple channels. From leading digital engagement and media outreach to supporting awareness and fundraising campaigns, this role offers a diverse portfolio of projects and the chance to make a measurable difference.

Key Responsibilities Champion the organization’s brand presence across digital, print, and event channels. Lead the development and execution of social media strategy, content creation, and performance tracking. Oversee website management, SEO/SEM initiatives, and digital marketing campaigns. Draft, edit, and coordinate communications for audiences including participants, partners, media, and internal teams. Manage newsletters, donor and stakeholder engagement initiatives, and promotional materials. Collaborate on fundraising and sponsorship activities, crafting compelling stories and visuals. Support leadership with presentations, reports, and organizational publications such as the annual report.
What We’re Looking For 4–6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or fundraising. Experience in the nonprofit or community-focused sector is an asset. Bilingual fluency in French and English (spoken and written). Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and website administration. Proficiency with tools such as WordPress, Salesforce/Pardot (or comparable CRM and automation tools), Hootsuite, Canva/Adobe Suite, and SEO/SEM platforms. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities, with experience engaging diverse audiences and external partners.
