Role Overview

Act as an independent Marine Engineer on various projects.Deliver high-quality and cost-effective Marine Systems designs for SBM products.Focus on the design of FPSOs and potentially Floating LNG products.Manage occasional high workloads during project peaks.Possibly undertake assignments in other project offices or shipyards globally.

Skills & Qualifications

In-depth experience in conceptual and detailed design of marine and production systems on floating units (FSOs, FPSOs, Oil & Gas Carriers, Chemical Tankers, Drilling Units, Semi's, TLP).Good interface knowledge with related disciplines such as Naval, E&I, Piping, HVAC, Process, Technical Safety & Regulatory.Experience working with Shipyards, Shipboard Operations, Marine Equipment Vendors, and Manufacturers.Familiarity with the latest marine systems and equipment technology.Knowledge of classification societies (ABS, DNV GL, BV, Lloyds) and HSSE policies.Experience with review methods including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA HP/LP Reports, SIF Reports.

Education & Experience

MSc or BSc degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Higher Seafaring College or General Operational Technology (AOT).At least 2 years of working experience in Marine Systems Engineering and Design (preferably on Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed phases).
