Senior Mapping Specialist Cardiac Ablation

As a Mapper within the Arrhythmology team, you’ll play a key role in supporting a comprehensive range of advanced electrophysiology solutions—including the groundbreaking Affera platform. In this role, you’ll support clinical teams both in the electrophysiology lab and in the field, focusing on the full range of Arrhythmology solutions with an emphasis on the Affera platform. You’ll report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal use of our technologies. The position requires travel between multiple medical centres in Romania and Republic of Moldova, providing high-quality support and training. Flexible work arrangements and ongoing learning opportunities make this an excellent chance to grow and make a real impact in cardiac care. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:** + Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab staff on the use of the Affera™️ Mapping and Ablation System and related equipment, while also supporting alternative therapeutic solutions such as cryoablation and pulsed field ablation (PFA) + Serve as technical adviser/expert, demonstrating products/service, providing T&E, in-service or trade show support and troubleshooting product issues + Adapt and contribute to short- and long-term plans, goals, and objectives for the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System, as well as other CAS therapies such as cryoablation and PFA. Adapt and deploy product and service value propositions across all solutions + Conduct competitive product analysis, opportunity assessment and market research + Be an active participant to the development of advanced clinical workflows + Work closely with the education team and support the development of training centres + Stay abreast of all products information across the Medtronic CAS portfolio, instructions for use (IFU) and relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information + Be responsible for product launch strategies for new site activation as well as ensuring effective product placement relative to customer needs. **Required Knowledge and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree required in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines + 3+ years of clinical EP experience + Minimum of 2 years of successful independent support of EP mapping procedures + Native Romanian speaker with proficiency in English + Ability to manage high-stress situations with a clear problem-solving mindset + Ability to ensure knowledge transfer to other colleagues and peers when requested + Ability to maintain a high level of responsiveness to customer or other internal and external stakeholders + IBHRE or equivalent certification is a plus + Independent, responsible, and decisive, with flexibility and willingness to travel as required + Valid driving license.
