CGI is seeking an experienced manufacturing systems specialist with strong expertise in MES tools within the manufacturing domain. You will act as a subject matter expert in manufacturing solutions and system integration. The selected candidate will be responsible for requirements analysis, solution recommendations and design, as well as implementation and architecture to ensure seamless data flow within the client’s ecosystem and to guarantee overall solution performance in the client’s environment.
Responsibilities
Perform a maturity assessment of the client’s environment
Develop strategies, recommendations, operational frameworks, and integration guidelines for ERP and MES/PLM systems
Design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data consistency and accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the integration process
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field
Proven experience as an MES and integration specialist, or in automation, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing MES/ERP/PLM system integrations
Knowledge of the manufacturing ecosystem (PLC, SCADA, data collection, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of MES systems such as Ignition, Siemens OpCenter, Aveva, Dassault Delmia-Apriso, etc.
Asset: Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Dassault Enovia, Siemens Teamcenter, AVEVA, etc.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Infor, etc.)
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Experience producing technical documentation, recommendations, and architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual in French & English, spoken and written
