Senior Manufacturing Engineer
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting the transfer of manufacturing operations from our Lakeland site, which is expected to remain operational through the end of 2026. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow their experience within a global medical technology leader. This role qualifies for a retention bonus. **What you will do-** + Responsible for complying with all quality standards and requirements through the development, maintenance, and application of engineering principles and practices. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, GMP, and statistical methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes. + Lead the transfer of new products, design changes, and line extensions to the production floor, ensuring smooth and compliant implementation. + Identify, develop, and implement process, machining, and safety improvements across production lines to reduce scrap and increase efficiency. + Perform failure analysis and drive solutions that improve medical device functionality, performance, and reliability. + Develop and maintain operating procedures, standard work, and visual work instructions to support consistent quality and production performance. + Provide technical support and training to team as needed + Manage and prioritize engineering projects and team resources to meet operational goals, coaching and developing engineers and technicians. + Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, Regulatory, R&D, and external partners to resolve issues and support compliant, cost-effective manufacturing. **What you need-** + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field required + 2 or more years of related experience required + Experience in the continuous process improvement and applying Lean Manufacturing techniques- preferred Health benefits include: Medical and prescription drug insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, personalized healthcare support, wellbeing program and tobacco cessation program.
