Senior Manager Tax
**Job Overview:** This role leads key tax planning initiatives within the group, many arising out of changes to both the commercial and fiscal landscape of the various Group Companies. It requires collaborations across the business functions to ensure business objectives are met. It also responsible for developing a reliable tax forecast for the Group. It may have direct supervisory responsibility. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Ongoing review of group structure and appropriate jurisdictions of operations + Carry out implementation of tax restructuring initiatives for the group in the appropriate jurisdictions + Review of financing approaches within the various groups and recommendation of improvements including monitoring of tax issues relating to the cash pool + Carry out review of operation structure across the group to identify legal entities rationalization + Carry out periodic review of inter-group balances and recommend solutions to minimize tax exposures + Support the review of customer contracts and to provide assurance on tenders + Maintain knowledge and awareness of international tax issues and advise how they impact the group + Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation + Support the Group’s Transfer pricing policies and initiatives including review of proposed intra-group charges and documentation and proactive monitoring of margins earned by key group companies + Develop a tax forecast model to ensure reliable tax expense and cash tax forecast + Support the Vice President – Global Tax on special projects **CORPORATE REQUIREMENTS** JOB TITLE: Senior Manager – Tax Planning REPORTING TO: Vice President - Global Tax LOCATION: Houston **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting + CPA preferred + Experience in international tax in a multinational corporate essential + 8-10 years relevant tax experience + Excellent analytical and accounting skills + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal + Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders + Oil and gas sector experience would be an advantage \#LI-CA1 \#LI-DNI Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
