Primary Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional engineering teams in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions
Manage the full lifecycle of transactional print fulfillment platforms, including document generation, print routing, delivery tracking, and reconciliation
Champion code reuse, instrumentation, and observability to improve maintainability and operational efficiency
Lead performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and application layers
Coordinate with infrastructure, vendor, and business teams to manage capacity, compliance, and incident response
Mentor engineers and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and customer-centricity
Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with customer needs and market impact
Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on team-level progress and quality
Own and remove impediments for the team(s) and escalate as appropriate
Encourage and facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration
Be a change agent and foster a learn by doing environment
Provide guidance to team members to improve the team productivity
Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
Conduct regular reviews of incident backlogs, production health metrics, compliance status

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams
5+ years of experience with design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade applications in the Azure public cloud using Java and Spring Boot frameworks
3+ years of experience managing structured and unstructured data for high-volume document workflows
3+ years of experience with one or more document composition tools (e.g. Quadient Inspire)
Deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, instrumentation, and observability practices
Proven ability to lead automation-first initiatives, adoption of Artificial Intelligence tools and drive code reuse and maintainability
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid customer-centric mindset with experience in design thinking and agile methodologies
Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes and Apache Kafka
Knowledge of HIPAA and other regulatory requirements for healthcare communications
Proven to be skilled in root cause analysis, performance tuning, and optimization of complex systems
Proven to be capable of interpreting data to drive decisions and improve operational efficiency
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and influence architecture decisions
Proven ability to implement and audit security controls across systems and data flows
