Lead large-scale SAP implementation projects from strategy through deployment, ensuring successful outcomes for clients across a range of industries. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client leaders, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact, while identifying opportunities for additional value. Oversee project planning, budgeting, and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Manage and mentor high-performing engagement teams, providing direction, feedback, and support to drive excellence. Drive business development activities, including proposal creation, pricing strategy, and pursuit team leadership, helping to shape the SAP service line’s go-to-market strategy. Develop innovative solutions and methodologies, contributing to Deloitte’s thought leadership and industry eminence. Coach and develop talent, participating in recruitment, performance management, and staff development initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation.

Deloitte's SAP practice excels in driving innovative business transformations with a comprehensive suite of integrated market solutions and services. We specialize in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP applications, empowering clients to build a Kinetic Enterprise. This involves enabling a clean core, reducing technical debt, and leveraging advanced cloud capabilities such as automation, AI, ML, and analytics.

Qualifications

Required

12+ years of SAP consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large consulting firm, boutique consulting firm, or as an internal consultant within industry. 7+ years of formal leadership and project management of SAP project teams (direct or matrixed) of 70+ professionals. Led 5 or more end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations covering all life cycle phases. 5+ years of functional SAP SD configuration experience on large-scale projects. SAP project experience in wholesale, distribution, or consumer and industrial products sectors. Direct involvement in at least two (2) full life cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation Demonstrated financial management responsibility for SAP programs (e.g., budget oversight, P&L accountability). At least 1 SAP certification Bachelor’s degree or associate degree plus minimum 14 years equivalent work experience. Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred

Prior experience at a Big 4 consulting firm. Experience with SAP ASAP and Agile methodologies in project delivery. Experience with SAP MDG, SAP BTP, or recent SAP technologies Experience leading programs featuring multi-site, parallel SAP deployments. Application of AI or automation in SAP transformation programs Managed senior-level client relationships and presented to executive stakeholders. Experience with Signavio and/or Greenfield SAP implementations. Successfully migrated SAP ECC to S/4 HANA for at least one client. Master’s degree.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $167,000 - $307,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
