Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Manager - Safety, Health & Environment to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs across our organization.
Develop and implement strategic SHE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulationsLead and mentor a team of SHE professionals, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvementConduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize workplace hazardsOversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plansCollaborate with senior management to integrate SHE considerations into business decisions and operationsDevelop and deliver SHE training programs for employees at all levels of the organizationManage relationships with regulatory bodies and represent the company in SHE-related mattersAnalyze SHE performance data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholdersStay current with emerging SHE trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the organizationEnsure compliance with all applicable SHE laws, regulations, and standards in Saudi Arabia and internationallyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 15 years of experience in SHE management, with a proven track record of successful program implementationRelevant professional certifications such as CSP, CMIOSH, or NEBOSHIn-depth knowledge of local and international SHE regulations and standardsStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationProficiency in SHE management systems and softwareDemonstrated experience in developing and implementing SHE policies and proceduresStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-makingExpertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysisProject management skills and experience in managing complex SHE initiativesFluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirableWillingness to travel within Saudi Arabia as requiredAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
