Job Summary:
The Risk Management & Insurance function at Trane Technologies is doing its part in helping the company continue along its path of providing innovative solutions to mitigate and/or transfer risk to protect the corporation’s physical and financial assets. The Senior Manager - Risk Management & Insurance has responsibility for directing the Corporation’s insurance programs from risk assessment through program implementation and monitoring of effectiveness. The Risk Management & Insurance function is a key resource in advising Trane Technologies business management on the identification and management of risk exposures. As such, the Senior Manager - Risk Management & Insurance must develop strong internal and external relationships to be effective.
What you will do:
Determining appropriate coverage for all international insurance programs including global property, international product & auto liability, nuclear liability, aircraft products liability, global marine and equipment rental insurance
Optimize placement, renewal, administration and claims resolution for all international programs
Direct report responsibilities for Analyst position
Preparing Insurance Budget, Accrual activities and allocations to SBU’s
Work closely with safety and legal departments in directing, planning and administering key loss prevention and risk management programs and procedures
Management of department’s Sarbanes Oxley reporting requirements
Assisting Director Risk Management & Insurance in management of wholly owned Captive Insurance companies
Oversight of Department third party service providers including claims administrators, actuarial consultants and brokers
Advise businesses regarding risk exposures and applicable insurance coverage regarding customer projects and contractual agreements
Manage the broker’s international network of resources to provide day-to-day support for Trane Technologies international operations
Manage oversight of country-specific policies to ensure compliance in all countries in which Trane Technologies operates.
Oversee Trane Technologies property protection program, work with loss control representatives, participate in annual on-site property loss control visits, review insurer’s property inspection recommendations and lead in the development of coordinated responses to recommendations
What you will bring:
Minimum 10-15 years’ risk management experience with increased responsibility and varied duties in multinational corporate risk management environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with business leaders and effectively manage third party vendors
Sound analytical techniques and ability to understand financial concepts
The ability to propose creative recommendations which are value added
Bachelors degree; Risk Management designation (ARM or equivalent)
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $154,100-194,500
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
