Senior Manager Product Integration Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

The role of the Senior Manager, Product Integration Planning to support the development of the X-category Product strategy and seasonal planning across the product team to achieve GCA’s top priority. This role will also act as key contactor from product team to support key business-related initiatives.

He/she will achieve this mission by:

Driving, guiding and supporting Leaders in the planning and execution of the respective work-streams and initiatives Escalating / communicating foreseeing risks and decision points, obtaining required strategic direction from necessary organisational stakeholders Establishing credibility with Leaders and Sponsors (e.g. can be trusted for an accurate snapshot of where things stand)

 

Key responsibilities

 

Product category strategy and planning

 

Work with x-BU team to develop holistic product strategy plan, as the guidance for seasonal category plan development Work with BU teams to develop seasonal category plan to serve category plan signoff Work with senior leadership x-functions to develop various product related plan / analysis to serve key GTM milestone, such as GTM S/O, SMM, Trade Meeting, etc. Support senior leadership to develop various business reporting / planning per requirement and business needs

 

Product initiatives management

 

Drive and guide Leaders by creating and sharing a systematic and integrated view of selected work-streams (set the baseline: set work-stream objectives, role, define KPIs) Ensure objectives are aligned with the strategic direction Act as liaison and communication bridge across the organization to build alignment on work-stream direction and priorities, and to manage cross-work-stream interdependences  Actively monitor completion of necessary deliverables of respective work-streams to translate implications of progress into outcomes and demands for Leads and Sponsors Data or information collection and analysis per project requirements, communicating status to the Leaders and Sponsors for in-time review Provide Leaders, Sponsors and Global interfaces with regular updates on work-stream progress through the project status reports Facilitate and guide the overall work-stream life cycle from start to finish

On-time deliver with high standard, Strategy digest and execution, Business insight, Initiative achievement, Contribution to initiative teams, Overall project management Qualitative feedback from Leaders, Sponsors and Global Interfaces on overall project leadership, communications, problem solving, strategic influence

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Strong logic thinking and researching skills – able to abstract business insights from variety information in a logical way Strong business sense and analytic/critical-thinking skills – able to proactively solve problems using both conventional judgment and ad-hoc analysis Acknowledge in strategic planning with holistic view of business – able to digest and translate company strategy into project objectives and implement through work-stream Strong communication and diversify – able to work as one team with influential power to drive x-functional collaboration Willingness to learn and adapt –to build business acumen and develop general management competence Proactively seek opportunity for improvement with an owner mentality

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

University degree or above, MBA a plus Minimum 5-8 years of general business experience, Experience with leading consumer brand a plus, Experience in leading management consulting firm is a plus Experience in and strong skills of planning, process and project management Experience in working closely with senior management team across functions Exceptional PowerPoint skills for impactful storytelling, solid skills in Word, Excel, etc. Basic statistics and modelling knowledge    Strong communication skills – written and spoken English and Mandarin
