We are seeking a high-performing Senior Manager to lead Procurement Specialists across multiple sites. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who excels in driving cross-functional collaboration, resolving complex supply issues, and ensuring seamless production support in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing strategic leadership with active problem-solving and team engagement.
What You Will Do:
Serve as the Procurement representative in high-level Value Stream Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and daily Tier meetings, ensuring alignment across functions.Act as the primary liaison between Procurement, Operations and the Value Stream, linking communication and resolving misalignment on program priorities, risks, and material flow.Review escalated part issues and proactively mitigate potential impacts to manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.Analyze reports (e.g., Y/N Reports, MisMatch tools) to identify and address factors delaying PO placement, such as incorrect demand or pending change orders.Collaborate with Planners to review and resolve critical shortages, ensuring production readiness.Lead buffer reviews and oversee risk assessments of part change orders and short lead-time material requests.Identify trends, supplier risks, and demand shifts using available tools and forward-looking data.Investigate root causes of overdue deliveries and drive permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Champion strategic initiatives to eliminate systemic barriers to purchase order execution and streamline procurement processes.Leverage ERP and data analytics to inform decisions and support long-term program health.Take ownership of special projects and initiatives assigned by leadership.Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experienceProven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a complex, regulated environment.Qualifications We Prefer:
Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or procurement within the aerospace or defense industry.Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a complex, regulated environment.Strong knowledge of aerospace production systems, material flow, and supplier management practices.Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently when needed.Skilled in ERP systems (SAP preferred), data analysis, and root cause/corrective action methodologies.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Comfortable functioning as a working leader, diving into tactical execution while maintaining strategic oversight.Learn More & Apply Now!

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
