What this job involves

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary MS Power Platform & Copilot Studio expert with 7–12 years of experience in automation, low-code application development, and AI-driven process transformation.

You will act as the strategic bridge between business operations and digital innovation—designing, developing, configuring, and deploying advanced Power Platform solutions, Copilot-based process assistants, and generative AI-driven automation. Your focus will be on enabling rapid business transformation through low-code development, conversational bots, AI agents, and seamless SaaS integration.

This is an individual contributor role requiring deep technical expertise, strong solution design skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

Requirements Management – Gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements; translate them into actionable designs for Power Apps, Power Automate flows, AI-powered copilots, and virtual agents.

Process Optimization – Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to automate or enhance via Power Platform and Copilot Studio capabilities.

Solution Documentation – Produce clear business requirement documents, functional specifications, and user stories for AI-enhanced business process solutions.

Technical Collaboration – Work closely with Power Platform developers, architects, and IT teams to ensure solutions align with best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.

Quality Assurance – Lead and support SIT/UAT cycles for Power Platform applications and AI copilots, ensuring they meet requirements and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Innovation Leadership – Drive adoption of generative AI features, custom connectors, and AI Builder components to expand solution capabilities.

Stakeholder Management – Engage and manage relationships with business leaders, technology partners, and end-users to ensure success.

Continuous Learning – Stay current on new features in Power Platform, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and related Microsoft technologies.

Development & Configuration

Solution Development – Design and build enterprise-grade applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.

AI Integration – Configure AI Builder models, Copilot prompts, and agentic workflows to deliver intelligent automation and conversational capabilities.

Custom Connectors & APIs – Develop and integrate custom connectors, REST APIs, and third-party services into Power Platform solutions.

Dataverse Configuration – Architect and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles for scalable solutions.

Automation Workflows – Configure robust process automation using Power Automate for approvals, integrations, and event-driven processes.

POC & Prototype Development – Rapidly create Proof-of-Concepts to validate business ideas and showcase capabilities for adoption.

Security & Governance Compliance – Apply DLP policies, environment strategies, and security best practices for enterprise deployments.

Performance Optimization – Monitor and refine application and flow performance; apply analytics for continuous improvement.

Deployment & Support – Handle solution packaging, deployment pipelines, and post-go-live support in alignment with DevOps practices.

User Enablement – Develop training materials, in-app guidance, and knowledge base documentation to support solution adoption.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field.

7–10 years of experience in business analysis, low-code solution development, or automation project delivery.

Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, AI Builder, Power Pages).

Direct experience with Copilot Studio—designing AI-powered business assistants and conversational experiences.

Strong understanding of SaaS integration and governance.

Agile delivery experience.

Technical Expertise

Microsoft Certification in Power Platform (PL-400 or PL-600 preferred).

Advanced skills in Dataverse data modeling, AI Builder, Copilot integration, and custom connector development.

Experience embedding Power Platform apps into Microsoft 365/Dynamics ecosystems.

Familiarity with generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and agent-based automation.

Proficiency in Python, SQL, or VBA for advanced data and business process automation.
