Role OverviewThe Senior Manager of Shared Services will lead and oversee the company's Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Billing operations. This person will play a critical role in driving automation, efficiency, and improved controls while helping shape the future of the finance function during a period of high-impact change.
This is a key leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys bringing structure to evolving finance operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the shared services functions: AR, AP, and Billing
Design and implement process improvements to drive automation, consistency, and efficiency
Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics (KPIs), and internal controls
Support and help drive the successful implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP across finance operations
Manage and mentor team leads and staff to build a high-performing, service-driven team
Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and senior leadership to align shared services with enterprise goals
Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and reporting related to shared services
Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards
Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
8-12 years of progressive experience in finance operations or shared services, with leadership responsibility
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and shared service technologies
Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Track record of successful change management and cross-functional collaboration
Strong analytical mindset with experience managing KPIs, SLAs, and service quality metrics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus
